UPS and the PO seem to be charging a lot for bike boxes(I sent a bike to Maine from CA this winter for $90! I will be taking the handlebars off and attaching them to top tube, pedals/cranks(for sure) and rear derailleur off too(Hopefully these parts will come off easily) I estimate shipping to be $50-80 depending on destination.I just checked UPS groun Photos show what you get- this bike needs MANY hours of work to get it up and riding I would say(4 hrs if you are quick) I do a lot of eBay and CL sales so I know what the parts and bike as whole are worth. It will go to my storage for future fixing if I don't sell it in next 2 weeks. This is a great frame(aluminum) the headset/handlebar set-up is Bontrager, the grips are NEW. I am moving now, so I am going to see if anyone wants to take on the project. The rear wheel is no good as I said- it is warped too much to true(I tried) I think.
I actually rode this bike a few blocks recently, so I know it has life in it. more some sun fading, the cables are okay but could be replaced/or you need a few new ones, the cable housings could use replacing too, the brakes have spring and some brake pads left, the chain is okay- needs oil. The Seat Tube is NEW, the seat is in decent condition. I also will throw in a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur, which is good for parts(not complete, but functional- missing one cog/wheel) The spare shifter is the same as what is on the bike and has a shifter cable and works fine. I will throw in a spare left side shifter I have from beginning to work on this bike. The cranks are Suntour, the shifters are Shimano V-Brake style. The rear wheel is shot- it is not worth passing on. The frame measures very close to this: Seat Tube to bottom bracket is 15 inches Top Tube is 19.5" Down Tube is 23" I don't know the true frame size, this bike was acquired from a garage sale with my intent to some day fix up for friends and/or sale.
